I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for a wonderful family going through an incredibly difficult time. After the heartbreaking events that took place on Sunday at the Wilder horse races, a family I know personally has been deeply affected.

Luis Angel, a devoted father and husband, was taken into custody, leaving his wife Clau and their two children—a one-year-old son and an eleven-year-old daughter—facing an uncertain future. Clau is now doing her best to hold everything together on her own, managing rent, bills, and groceries without any financial assistance or support system in place.
