On September 2002 Christopher was diagnosed at age 6 with a pituitary brain tumor. He under went a front right craniotomy from the midline forehead-bottom ear lobe. He had a stroke and ended up paralyzed for a few months. Christopher had to learn to walk, talk, and eat again. In May 2006 and May 2007 he was diagnosed with a recurrent pituitary brain tumor, and his seizures became more frequent. He underwent several additional surgeries for the tumors and to repair broken bones as a result of his condition.
In 2021 Christopher experienced a severe case of shingles which left him hospitalized for 10 days. Due to dysfunctional adrenal and other issues he suffered a brain bleed, uncontrollable seizures and was diagnosed with metastatic pituitary carcinoma. Pituitary carcinoma is so rare it accounts for less than 1% of all pituitary tumors.
On August 16, 2023 Christopher underwent his 4th surgery of the brain, to remove 2 out of the 3 brain tumors. On September 14, 2023 the pathology report confirmed Christopher has metastatic pituitary carcinoma.
Christopher's family has moved from various states for his ongoing care and found Pooler, GA as there permanent home in 2008. The family is enduring more travel expenses out of town along with in town, to and from doctors, testing, including hospital stays for uncontrollable seizures/testing and copays. We are asking for donations to help them with gas, food, over night accommodations and copay expenses.
We may never know why God has this families plate so full. But know every battle is a victory. This fight will be victorious with all your prayers, well wishes and monetary support to help this family get through these hard times that lie ahead. Thank you!
