Hi! Sociology 270 (Poverty and Society), a sociology class at Widener University seeks your help to raise money for Chester Eastside. Every week, Chester Eastside provides warm, nutritious meals to individuals and families in the Chester community who are struggling with hunger. For many guests, this is the only hot meal they’ll have all day.

Unfortunately, due to rising food costs, supply shortages, and a lack of funding, Chester Eastside is struggling to meet demand. Without additional support, they risk having to turn people away - something they have never had to do and are committed to never do.

Our goal is to raise $1000 to help Chester Eastside continue providing hot meals, comfort, and care to our neighbors who need it most. Every dollar counts and goes directly toward serving the community.
