Donate to Catholic Charities for Winter Relief

We are students at Wichita State University participating in a teambuilding course. According to the course syllabus, this course promotes an understanding of the organizational context of team culture through an analysis of how teams form and group processes that enhance goal accomplishment. Emphasizes skills necessary to manage the organization’s culture, improve group performance and increase collaboration among team members.

The purpose of our service project is to raise and donate as much money as possible to a local charity known as Catholic Charities. Their mission is to “stabilize and empower people experiencing poverty, abuse, homelessness or living with disability, while preserving their human dignity.” With the winter season approaching quickly, it is imperative to support those needing a safe place and basic necessities to which they may not have access. With the money raised, we hope that those in need get the comfort and safety that all citizens have a right to have.
