The Community and College Partners Program Helps Underserved Communities Help Themselves!

At C2P2, we partner with colleges, universities, and other pro bono collaborators to address the self-identified needs in their communities. Our mission is to level the playing field, enabling these communities to compete for resources on equal footing with larger cities that have more access to funding and support.

The Federal Government stopped $3billion of aid! The C2P2 staff got laid off, the college students lost their stipends, and the communities' work in progress might never be finished without your help.

We work alongside groups committed to fund impactful projects developed by communities with the pro-bono assistance from students to turn innovative ideas into real-world solutions.

As a dynamic 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we are committed to meeting the current and emerging needs of people and places.

In November of 2023, C2P2 made a bold decision to work directly with a government program supporting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Community Change Grant, to improve the quality of life of underserved communities. The C2P2 staff went all in to help the Federal Government distribute funds where they would do the most good. On February 14th, 2025, this all ended.

But we’re not giving up!

We are determined to get C2P2 back on its feet and continue the vital work we’ve been doing for years, empowering communities and providing valuable real-world experiences for students. And that’s where you come in.

We are asking for your donation so we can continue supporting the communities that need us most. We will use the funds to:

• Rebuild Our Team: We need to re-hire our skilled and passionate staff members, who provide critical technical assistance to underserved communities.

• Support Ongoing and New Community Projects: Your contribution will ensure we can continue delivering projects that improve the quality of life for those who need it most.

• Offer Real-World Experience to Students: C2P2 provides valuable internships and real-world projects to help students gain hands-on experience to prepare for their careers.

• Expand Our Reach: With your help, we can scale our efforts and bring our proven model to even more communities across the country.

What is C2P2?

C2P2 has always been about one thing: empowering underserved and developing communities by providing pro bono technical assistance tailored to their specific needs. Through partnerships with universities, we’ve been able to offer students real-world experience while delivering essential support to communities that need it most.

Since our founding, C2P2 has completed more than 60 projects in 15 states and three foreign countries. These projects range from improving infrastructure and creating educational programs to addressing healthcare and environmental challenges and many other issues. Through these efforts, we’ve been able to provide valuable technical assistance, educational opportunities, and help communities become more resilient and self-sufficient.
