BunnCERT is a volunteer organization whose mission is to provide support and backup for Local Emergency Management, EMS, Fire Departments, and Law Enforcement during events where additional personnel are required. CERT members are trained as Emergency Medical Responders. During a natural disaster or an emergency event CERT:

- Provides immediate assistance to victims, including triage of injuries, assisting search and rescue operations, assistance with manning shelters, assistance with crowd control, and assistance with traffic control.

- Organizes spontaneous untrained volunteers to provide needed services.

- Collects disaster intelligence to assist professional responders who are trying to allocate limited resources.

BunnCERT is currently raising $3500.00 to cover insurance premiums.
