My name is Talia, and I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida where I majored in health education. Through an amazing program called Worldpackers, I have the opportunity to volunteer at Bujagali Children's Care Foundation, a non-profit orphanage located in Jinja, Uganda. This non-profit is home to orphaned, disadvantaged, and/or homeless children in the Busoga region, where they are provided with essential, life, health, nutrition, and education services to empower them and sustain a better quality of life. In addition, another goal of this non-profit is to reduce the prevelance of HIV/AIDS among younger populations in Uganda.

With your contribution, you are directly impacting the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk children. With the funds raised, you will support the continued mission of the non-profit to create a better future through education and support, reduce the risk and exposure to disease, increase overall health, and provide a safe space for the children to flourish, learn, and grow.

Fun fact: This non-profit aligns with three of UN's sustainable developmental goals of no poverty, quality education, and peace, justice, and strong institutions.
