This Ramadan, I’m raising funds to build water wells and hand pumps in Pakistan, specifically in Tharparkar (Sindh) and South Punjab, where many families still struggle daily for access to clean drinking water. Due to drought, pollution, and poor water infrastructure, communities are forced to use contaminated water, leading to diseases like cholera and diarrhea. Women and children often walk miles just to collect water, impacting their health, education, and ability to work.
Through Kawish Welfare Foundation — a reputable organization that has installed over 1,000 water wells and hand pumps across Pakistan since 2010 — your donation will directly fund clean water projects completed within 4–6 weeks. A full water well costs approximately $645 (Rs. 180,000), and hand pumps range from $107–$250 depending on the region. These projects can be given as Zakat or Sadaqah. I am personally connected to the foundation, which is run by a trusted family member, ensuring transparency and direct oversight of where the funds go.
Any donation, big or small, will significantly change lives. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
