Donate to Build Homes with Catalina Muñoz Foundation

Hi, my name is Simon Aljure-Jauregui, and I’m a 9th grader at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida. I want to share with you a cause that is deeply personal to me: the Catalina Muñoz Foundation.

In Colombia, 1.82 million people—about 36.6% of the population—live without proper housing or a decent standard of living. The Catalina Muñoz Foundation is working tirelessly to change that. Through the dedication of volunteers, we build safe, stable homes for impoverished families in regions where hope is often in short supply.

What makes this project so special is the sense of community it fosters. The volunteers who come together to build these homes don’t just construct walls—they create bonds. Together, we become a family united by compassion, kindness, and the shared mission of making a real difference in people’s lives.

Supporting the Catalina Muñoz Foundation is my way of honoring my Colombian heritage and giving back to those who need it most. It’s about lifting up families who have so little and sharing the blessings I’ve been fortunate to receive.
