The Woburn Community Fridge has been up and operating for 2 months now! The need for this resource has been confirmed an we are all actively helping to feed our community.

Community Fridges are an investment in the community to help battle food insecurity which is consistently 15-20% of the population. That means about 8,000 residents of Woburn are reporting food insecurity. Recent changes to benefits programs will likely make this number soar.

Community Fridges are all around our region and Woburn will host the newest fridge with the help of the City of Woburn and the United Methodist Church as our host.

Community Fridges rely on help from the community. It would be great to alleviate this need with your help! We need to build a shed around the refrigerator and have some money on hand to provide some food in the refrigerator as volunteer groups get set up and regular donations kick in.

$25 will help to feed five people or more! Just think what $100 could do! Any amount is helpful and we are grateful for your donations.
