Hello, we are Georgia, Momina & Ash, volunteers at Bali Baby Home. While we are here (9th June 2025-30th June 2025), we will be helping to aid the development of these children through fun, hands on, carefully planned and implemented learning experiences, as well as giving my love and physical help to the babies.

How You Can Help:

Whilst here, we will be planning and implementing learning experiences for the children, and will use any donated funds to support purchasing resources for this. For example, the current focus for the babies is on colour and number, so we aim to purchase sensory resources such as pasta shells, rice, cotton wool and food colouring for the babies to then sort into coloured bowls, count in and out of containers etc. These resources can then also be used for a variety of other activities, such as making pasta necklaces, measuring & pouring activities and many more.

Additionally, we will be able to take the babies on outings such as to the local soft play centre, and purchase some larger toys, such as apparatus for gross motor skills.

About Bali Baby Home:

In 2021, Mr. Burhan founded Bali Baby Home, taking in his first newborn, which led to the welcoming of over 50 children to date. The home also provides a safe space for expecting mothers. Sadly, due to a cultural taboo surrounding children born out of wedlock in Bali, many babies are abandoned in unsafe conditions. Bali Baby Home gives these children a chance at a better future, either by reuniting them with their biological mothers (if possible) or providing them a safe home if that’s not feasible.
