For over a decade, Kappa Sigma has marked UCA Homecoming with our favorite tradition: the Game Ball Relay. Rain or shine, we run the game ball 33 miles from the state capitol to Estes Stadium. This year, we're running for a cause close to our hearts: the Arkansas Veterans Coalition (AVC).

Our chapter has built a personal connection with the AVC and proudly supports their mission of serving the 500,000+ Arkansas veterans and their families. Every dollar we raise will directly fund one of the AVC’s most impactful programs: the Arkansas Veterans Legislative Session (AVLS).

The AVLS is a non-partisan retreat that trains delegates from across the state to draft and pass bills that will hopefully become real state laws. This program is incredibly effective—in the last General Assembly, 75% of their proposed bills were passed, creating real change for veterans.

The retreat costs around $15,000 to operate. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to help make it possible. Your donation empowers those who have served to continue their service as civic leaders and have their voices heard in our government.
