Hi everyone! My name is Arjun Gudipaty, a sophomore at MTHS, and a part of Boy Scouts. I’m working on my Eagle Scout Service Project, and I’m asking for your help to bring something special to the playground at Oak Tree Elementary School.

For this project, I’ll be building a mini sharing library and a bench, creating a cozy corner on the playground where kids can relax and read during recess. Not every child feels like running around or playing games, and this little library will give them a peaceful alternative.

This space will encourage reading, kindness, and community. Not only will children be able to borrow books, but they can even bring books from home that they no longer need and donate it to the library!

I’m fundraising to cover the cost of materials: wood, tools, paint, etc. to make the library and bench sturdy, safe, and comfortable. Every dollar helps us get closer to this goal and gives your kids an opportunity to bolster their experience at Oak Tree.
