My name is Anvi Patil and I am a student of Irving Robins Middle School in Farmington, CT.

As you are all aware, the struggle against cancer continues. There isn't a single person I know who does not have a friend or relative who has battled this dreadful illness.

I've discovered a means to battle this disease: the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life!!!

This year, I'm dedicating my walk to all of my friends who are currently battling cancer or have lost the battle.

Every year, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life raises hundreds of millions of dollars to combat cancer. Relay For Life raises awareness of cancer and makes a difference in the lives of those touched by it. THIS MOMENT!

My goal is to raise $500 to aid in the fight against cancer. I am requesting your assistance in stepping up the fight against cancer.
