My name is Brian Crook. My Ma, Annie Yvonne Crook, has been diagnosed with an advanced stage of Multiple Myeloma. Ma was hospitalized a few weeks ago for several fractured vertebrae and multiple broken ribs. After several scans were completed, it showed a high probability of cancer. Shortly after the scans, she had a procedure to repair the vertebrae and kill any tumors they could see in the spine. After a biopsy was done, it came back positive for cancer. After healing for a bit, we went to get treatment options and a PET scan to pinpoint where they need to target with chemo. That's when we were informed she didn't have the right type of health insurance for treatments or the scan.

We are applying for the correct insurance at this time, but as you all know, bills keep piling up and the government gets in no hurry for anyone.

My Ma has spent over 5 decades taking care of citizens of our county and state. I would say she has helped either you or a family member or friend at some point in her life.

I want to say I do not ask for handouts, but my Ma needs help. My brother and I are doing the best we can. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
