<div>My name is Brian Crook. My Ma, <strong>Annie Yvonne Crook, has been diagnosed with an advanced stage of Multiple Myeloma.</strong> Ma was hospitalized a few weeks ago for several fractured vertebrae and multiple broken ribs. After several scans were completed, it showed a high probability of cancer. Shortly after the scans, she had a procedure to repair the vertebrae and kill any tumors they could see in the spine. After a biopsy was done, it came back positive for cancer. After healing for a bit, we went to get treatment options and a PET scan to pinpoint where they need to target with chemo. <strong>That's when we were informed she didn't have the right type of health insurance for treatments or the scan.</strong>

<div>We are applying for the correct insurance at this time, but as you all know, bills keep piling up and the government gets in no hurry for anyone.

<div>My Ma has spent over 5 decades taking care of citizens of our county and state. I would say she has helped either you or a family member or friend at some point in her life.

<div>I want to say I do not ask for handouts, but my Ma needs help. My brother and I are doing the best we can. Thank you all for your continued prayers.
