Hello! I'm Matthew Henry, an aspiring Eagle Scout from Hermosa Beach's Troop 860. For my Eagle Project, I will be replacing the aging ballroom ceiling for the American Legion Post 184 located on 412 Camino Real, Redondo Beach.

The project consists of removing the old ceiling tiles, after which the crossbar will be cleaned and repainted. Then, new tiles will be inserted. During this process, the old fluorescent light bulbs will also be replaced with LED.

Some of the benefits of the project for the Legion include:

-Modern decor will improve the ambience for the members and visitors.

-The Legion will be able to use the improvements to increase visitors, memberships, and revenue from functions.

-New LED will improve visibility and safety while reducing power costs.

-Additional funds saved or raised as a result of these upgrades can be reallocated to further support veterans in need and broaden the Legion's impact on our local community.

Any extra funds raised that are not used on the project will be donated directly to the American Legion Post 184. I sincerely thank you for your interest in my project! Any amount donated is greatly appreciated.
