The last few years have been hell. My daughters and I have been trying to get out of this situation for several years already.

My name is Alina. I am a mother of two girls, and right now I am their only protection from a person who uses everything possible to destroy our life.

My husband is not just a “difficult divorce.” It is years of total control, humiliation, and threats. And this nightmare has not ended. Now it is a war that he is waging through blackmail, surveillance, and stalking in order to turn our life into constant fear.

Once, before this nightmare, I earned money myself and fully supported my family. I have a diploma and have many years of experience, and I know very well what it means to be independent. To return to that state, I am already doing everything: I am working and learning a new profession. In July 2026, I will finish my studies, be able to take a higher position, and support myself and my children again. But right now, in this most difficult moment, I cannot manage on my own.

I have reached out everywhere: to support services, to charitable organizations. But everywhere there are waiting lists, refusals, or just silence. Time is running out.

My only goal is to make it so that my children can sleep peacefully. That they don’t flinch at every one of his uncontrolled screams. That they can simply be safe.

While I am in the process of studying, my income does not cover even the most essential things. At the same time, the debts for legal and medical bills continue to grow. The scariest part is that in December our health insurance ends. Without it, I will not be able to undergo the two necessary surgeries on which my health and my ability to work depend.
