Donate to AIM - help save vital services for autistic people

Donation protected
Mabel, her friend Isobel, Peggy dog and I are taking on the challenge to run, walk, cycle and scoot the distance matching our combined age of 63 - 63 km in the month of April (a number Mabel chose).
This is a big challenge for us as leaving the house can be very tricky currently and because of this we have not been able to exercise much recently.
We are challenging ourselves to raise money for Autism Inclusion Matters (AIM).
AIM, part of People Matter, is a wonderful autistic led organisation on the Isle of Wight for autistic children, young people and autistic adults.
AIM’s services are vital to the autistic community on the island and much of the funding to run groups for all ages and training has been discontinued as of April 2025. This is devastating news to many people including us as a family. AIM has given us and continues to give us SO MUCH: confidence in ourselves as neurodivergent people, a community, sense of belonging, acceptance, safety and knowledge. With this I am sure I speak for many in our community. Mabel wants to save AIM so she has somewhere safe to come to when she feels able to, where she can learn about herself and can see peer support mentors who she feels she can trust and who understand her whole self without the mask.
Please help us save these services so our autistic children can have a better future, families can receive support, autistic adults can belong, can meet and get support and schools can continue to take part in vital autism training. This is so desperately needed in the here and now and for a brighter future.
Thank you! ☺️❤️
