Hello everyone. My name is Kaitlyn Presnell and I wanted to come on here today to share my family's past year struggling with cancer.

My sister Shelby was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in February of this year. She fought tooth and nail all year and was able to go into complete remission with the help of our family, friends, and doctors, and I hope to ask for the same help again.

This past week, my father was experiencing minor heart palpitations and nosebleeds, so he made an appointment with his doctor. To our shock, these symptoms turned out to be an aggressive cancer called Myeloma. We never thought we would have to go through the aches of having one family member with cancer, and now we have to fight the excruciating battle once again.

My dad, since being diagnosed, now has to go through different treatments and cannot work for the next year. My mother, who was injured years ago, is on disability and unable to work. Certain medications needed are not covered through insurance, and they are fighting to be able to afford the first rounds of medications.

Money is the last thing anyone wants to worry about when dealing with their health, and I want to help take some of that burden off my parents. If anyone is able to give a donation or would spread this GoFundMe, it would mean the world to my family and me.
