Help Support Our Mom’s Medical Journey
A few months ago, our mom suddenly developed a blood clot out of nowhere. We rushed her to the doctor, and they put her on medication, but something still wasn’t right. Weeks passed, and although the clot started to go down, she just wasn’t herself. She was always tired, had no appetite, and was feeling worse day by day. We knew deep down something more was going on.
We took her to multiple hospitals—Alamosa, Del Norte, even Pueblo—and each time they told us there was nothing more wrong and sent her home. But we knew they were missing something.
That’s when we made the decision to take her to UNMH in Albuquerque, New Mexico. From the moment we got there, they took it seriously. They ran the right tests and showed the urgency we had been begging for. Now, they’re planning to do a biopsy because what they’ve found could potentially be cancer.
This has been one of the scariest times of our lives. We’ve had to travel from Alamosa to Albuquerque and stay here while we wait for answers. We’re doing everything we can to be by her side and make sure she gets the care she deserves.
But with travel, food, lodging, and medical-related costs—it’s been incredibly hard financially. We are not the type to ask, but right now, we need help.
If you can donate anything, even just a few dollars, it would mean the world to us. And if you’re unable to donate, we kindly ask for your prayers and support during this time.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for being a part of this fight with us. ❤️
