Donate to Aid Nick's Recovery and Family Support

UPDATE: Nick has found out that he will no be able to return to work until after September 4th at the earliest. As Im sure we are all living pay check to paycheck, this makes things even more difficult, please donate if you can so they can take care of the basic necessities while he recovers to return to work!

I awoke yesterday to a text any parent dreads to get, Nick had been in a accident involving a lawnmower. While mowing his lawn, Nick slipped and his right foot went under the mower deck. Nick underwent surgery last evening were they removed the remainder of what the lawn mower blade left behind leaving Nick with 2 out of 5 toes.

Nick is a loving step-father, father and partner and will need time to recover and get back on his “feet again” (pun intended). Yesterday afternoon, I awoke to find a text message from my youngest son that he had been involved in an accident. He had tripped while mowing the lawn and his right foot slid under the mower deck. Due to the nature of the injury, he suffered the loss of 3 of his 5 toes. We are all grateful as it could have been a lot worse, but this has left him and his young family in somewhat of a financial bind since Nick is the primary breadwinner.
