Donate to Support Our Mother Melissa After Tragic Fire

Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of our mother, who was in a house fire on October 20th, 2024. It’s a tragedy we never thought we would face. She is currently in a burn center ICU recovering from 2nd-3rd degree burns and lung damage from the fire.

In just moments, her safe haven, her memories, and everything she had over the years were taken, the home itself rendered unlivable. While we are endlessly grateful she is safe, her entire life has been upended.

Right now, our mom needs a lifeline. The fire has left her with little beyond the few items that we were able to recover, and she is facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch. As you already know, she is one of the most caring and resilient people we know, and seeing her endure this is indescribably hard.

With your support, we hope to ease the path forward for her. Donations will help cover immediate needs—clothing, food, shelter, medical needs, and more—as well as the longer journey of rebuilding her life and, hopefully, her home. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, would mean so much, providing not only practical support but also a reminder of the love and community that surrounds her.
