Donate to Aid Bogo City Earthquake Victims

Hello, Everyone!

My name is Mari Mae Verallo. My beloved hometown, BOGO CITY, in Cebu Philippines was recently struck by a devastating 6.9 earthquake. I have been constantly communicating with my family and friends since day one and heard and saw their helpless situation firsthand. The casualties include at least 69 deaths and dozens of injuries as of this writing. All of the people in my hometown and neighboring towns are currently living and sleeping in the streets and open grounds with no electricity, food, shelter and water to drink. They are currently experiencing hundreds of aftershocks and most cannot go inside their homes or buildings since they are no longer safe from the damages and some are completely ruined.

I am appealing to your generous heart to help my fellow Bogohanons and Cebu Northerners who have lost so much and are displaced after the recent earthquake. I’m starting this fundraiser not to help my family although they too needed assistance, but I will bring this relief funds to those who need it most.

All the money donated will be used to purchase foods, water and tents to the affected families in Bogo City. Im from Bristol Connecticut. The funds will be transferred to my brother's bank account who is also a Bogo City resident who will oversee the purchase and distribution of the relief goods.
