Help Apple Spice in Richmond, VA Feed Its Local First Responders!
Are you wondering how you can make a difference in your community during the COVID-19 epidemic? Apple Spice Junction of Richmond, Virginia has decided to team up with local hospitals and counties to donate boxed lunches to the fearless first responders who are working tirelessly for our safety, protection, and well-being.
Apple Spice Junction will surprise these workers with a fresh, satisfying and delicious boxed lunch during their hard work day. The box includes a sandwich on homemade bread, a side of fruit or pasta salad, a pickle, a homemade cookie, and a mint. There are vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options in case someone has dietary restrictions. In order to ensure the responders receive the appropriate meal, Apple Spice will make a portion of all sandwich orders designed for dietary needs. To us, the customer always comes first.
The Apple Spice boxed lunch is the perfect meal in these trying times. The company adheres to all CDC and Health Department guidelines, all sandwiches are individually wrapped, and the meals are self-contained in their own box to ensure the health of our customer is put above everything else.
So, how can you help? For every $10 donation to this campaign, you are providing one first responder with a gourmet boxed lunch, and it does not stop there. For every $100 donated, Apple Spice will throw in another 5 boxed lunches for the first responders. That is 5 more workers that will be surprised and have a smile on their face during their work day! In addition, you will be supporting our local business, Apple Spice Junction, and allowing us to continue serving you each and every day.
The first responders of Richmond, Virginia are working day-in and day-out to provide the service and care our community needs. Our goal at Apple Spice is to make their day a little brighter. Their lives are especially challenging during these trying times, so we would like to make one thing easier by providing them with this gourmet meal.

Thank you so much for all of the donations so far! We have raised $1,200 for these hardworking individuals and we could not be more proud of the RVA community. So far, we have donated lunches to the VCU COVID unit and Neurosurgery ICU, Memorial Regional Hospital, and the Canterbury. The front-line workers have been so grateful, and there are so many more lunches where that came from!
