My name is Katie Macedo, daughter of Rose Candelario. My mother was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in March 2013. She was able to control it with chemotherapy and other targeted treatments for about nine years until she contracted covid-19 and passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
