It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Nick Nelson on the morning of June 8th.

Nick was the beloved and devoted husband of Alannah Bleik. Their love was beautiful, unwavering, and deeply inspiring to everyone who knew them. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, compassion, and endless love.

Nick dedicated his life to helping others. He was a cherished member of the Royal Victoria Hospital team, where he served patients with kindness and care in his role as Logistics Staff.

Nick leaves behind a family who loved him beyond measure. He is survived by his loving parents, Deb Williams and Christopher Nelson; his brothers, Zachary Rogers and Jacobi Rogers; and his sister, Jordyn Nelson.

He was also deeply loved by Alannah's family, who embraced him as one of their own: Tami Hall, Mustapha Bleik, Adam Bleik, and Ranya Bleik.

Nick's love extended to every part of his life, including his beloved rabbit, Louis, who brought him so much joy.

Outside of work, Nick loved spending time on the golf course, exploring nature on hikes, and recently discovered a passion for cooking. Most of all, he loved being surrounded by family and friends. Those who knew Nick will remember his infectious smile, his generous heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need.

To know Nick was to know love.

He was the kind of person who made others feel seen, valued, and cared for. His kindness, compassion, and beautiful spirit left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

As Nick's passing was completely unexpected, we are asking for support to help ease the financial burden facing his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as providing financial support to Alannah and Nick's family as they navigate this devastating loss.
