Support Hameed – Honouring a Life of Quiet Service
For years, Hameed has been the quiet pillar behind a vital community initiative — running a family-based death committee that ensures no member of our extended family is ever left alone to face the financial burden of a funeral.
This committee has supported dozens of families during their most difficult moments. Whenever someone passed away, Hameed was there — coordinating, collecting, organising, ensuring dignity for the deceased and peace of mind for the living.
But here’s the thing:
Hameed has never taken a penny in payment. Not for his time. Not for his fuel. Not for the endless phone calls and admin.
He has done this tirelessly, for years, quietly absorbing the stress, while making sure everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Many of us don’t realise the emotional and practical weight he’s carried.
Now, we feel it’s time to honour him.
Not with charity — but with respect and gratitude.
The Goal
We are raising funds as a gesture of appreciation, to give Hameed something back for the years of unpaid, unseen service.
Whether it helps him take a well-deserved break, cover personal costs he’s long neglected, or simply know he’s valued — this is our way of saying: we see you. We thank you.
No amount is too small. Every contribution is a vote of thanks for a man who has never asked for any.
From the Family:
“When our father passed, Hameed took care of everything. Before we could even think, the committee was active, the paperwork was being handled, and support was in place. He never asked for anything — just checked in to make sure we were okay.”
⸻
Let’s give something back to the man who gave so much.
Please share and donate generously.
