A father of 3 children was taken and detained at Adelanto. For many months his wife and children had to use the extra money they had to travel to visit him, pay for phone privileges, and even pay for him to have something to eat other than unspoiled food. These extra expenses took a toll on the whole family. The worry and stress weighed so heavily on their father that his health began to fail and he was eventually diagnosed with diabetes.

Now, the father has been released and is back with his family, but the continued stress and new diagnosis has left him unable to work and help provide for his family. They are in urgent need of money for rent as well as for life saving medications.
