UPDATED January 22, 2025
We are saddened to share the news that our mom, Pamela Men, has lost her battle to Stage 4 Lung Cancer and passed away on January 19, 2025.
A beloved wife. A mother. A daughter. A sister. A friend and an aunt; our mom was loved and adored by so so many.

She was beautiful both inside and out and would light up any and every single room she walked into. She was strong, kind, caring, nurturing, funny, empathic and A FIGHTER. She fought so hard and I am so proud of her for trying.
We are heartbroken, but are at peace knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she is reunited with our dad

If you were lucky enough to have met her, you would know that she was the life of the party so one big party in honoring her life is what we are going to give her.
Thank you guys for ALL of the outpouring love and support. This has been an extremely hard year for us especially these last 4 months and we couldn’t have gotten through it without your guys’ thoughts & prayers.

rip mom,
thank you for EVERYTHING you’ve done for us.
You are the most amazing person I have ever met and I am incredibly lucky to be your daughter!!!
We will all miss you so much; we already do.
We love you.
❤️ Dom

To our friends, family, and community:
Our dad, Michael Champagne took his last breath at 7:20am on September 27, 2024.
A husband. A father. THE BEST GRANDFATHER. A brother. An uncle. A friend. A neighbor. He had many roles in his life, but for all who had the pleasure of knowing him; you all know that he is literally the definition of a protector and provider.

He loved our mom, Pamela and took in her 3 very young children immediately and treated us like we were his own. He worked day in and day out to provide our mom with a car and moved us into a house all within the first year.
As a proud, small business owner of a local locksmith shop, our dad pushed himself every day to put food on the table for us, to keep a roof over our head, repaired locks for strangers in the community, and provided jobs to those in need.
Unfortunately, that came to end when he was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in September of 2022 and had to close up the shop as he physically couldn’t sustain it anymore. Since then, he was hospitalized 2 more times with the 3rd time resulting in his passing.
In March of 2024, towards the end of his 2nd hospital stay, our mom fell terribly ill and in May of 2024, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Stage 4 Lung Cancer.

These past couple of months hit them really hard; not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and financially, but to them, it was okay because they were fighting through all of it together ❤️
Our dad was our mom’s biggest supporter and she is currently experiencing the greatest loss in her life and has to figure out how to navigate through this new & terrifying journey without him.
As she continues to fight her battle with cancer, we want to make sure she grieves easily without any stressors that may result in complications with her illness.

We kindly ask our loved ones and our community (if you are willing and able) to lend a helping hand by donating towards both of their needs: funeral services for our dad and medical treatments for our mom.
If you aren't able to donate financially, please share and continue to keep our family in your prayers. We appreciate all of the love & support and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

We are who we are today because of who he was and there is nothing we are more proud of than to call him our dad ❣️
Thank you all again,
with love, always, Dom ❤️
