Donate for my mum’s cancer

My name is Amy, about two months ago my mother was diagnosed with stage 2, grade 3 womb cancer. My mum works for the NHS as a Health Care Assistant and is the most giving, loving and the strongest person I know. She always puts others before herself at work and away from work, never complaining about what is happening to her and despite so many life struggles. With mental health problems during covid, being sectioned in part due to working on A&E for the NHS and the difficulties she faced. Losing her father at the young age of 4 due to cancer and not really knowing him. She has been putting on a brave face since her diagnosis and yet knowing you have cancer must be the most heartbreaking thing. Her surgery will be on June 23rd, with recovery being at least 3 months, due to a full hysterectomy and it being open surgery, then mum will have to endure chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This means I will be caring for her daily and doing tasks she would normally do, and helping her get about. I love my mum very dearly and this is one of the scariest things I have ever experienced. Please donate for my Mum’s cause, I would just like to do something special, even if it is something small, just to lift her spirits. Thank you.
