Hi, my name is Estela, and I’m reaching out with a full heart and a simple hope—for mobility, comfort, and freedom for my sister Millie.

Millie has cerebral palsy and has been cared for by our mom since the day she adopted her at 3 years old. Our mother, a true fighter, raised us as a single parent after being abandoned during her pregnancy with me. She never learned to drive and gave up everything to care for Millie. Our family has always been small but mighty—just the three of us from the start.

In the last few years, our challenges have grown. Our mom survived a brain aneurysm and beat uterine cancer—both life-altering experiences. As her health declined, I stepped up as a full-time caregiver for both Millie and our mom, while also raising three children of my own and working full-time.

We’re now at a point where a wheelchair-accessible van is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Transporting Millie to appointments, outings, or even just getting fresh air safely and with dignity has become incredibly difficult. A van would give her a sense of independence and allow us to get her where she needs to go without struggle or risk.

We’ve been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received so far—thank you all for your love, encouragement, and kind words. But we’re still far from our goal, and we need your help to cross the finish line.
