Hi, I’m Mercedes Singleton, and I’m here asking for help. Our baby girl was diagnosed with pilomyxoid astrocytoma. She was admitted to the hospital on March 27th, where we received her diagnosis of her cyst and tumor. She then underwent surgery to remove spinal fluid and to place a shunt and biopsy. We were released on April 1st and then had to bring her back because she started to feel extremely bad again, and she is now non-verbal. We were admitted again on April 8th and had another surgery. She had to have another surgery last Thursday to place her port for chemotherapy and her G-button so that she can get her nutrients. We are preparing for our big surgery. All of this happened so unexpectedly, and we are just asking for a little help. Thank you.
