Hi, my name is LaToya, and I’m a hardworking mom of three my kids are 15, 8, and 7. I’m reaching out because I’m going through a tough time right now and need help getting a dependable vehicle for me and my family.

Since coming home from prison, I’ve dedicated my life to turning things around for myself and especially for my children. I work in the mental health field and also support people who have been incarcerated, just like I was. Helping others who are trying to rebuild their lives has become my passion and purpose.

I had a vehicle, but it’s been breaking down constantly. I’ve put so much money into it already, and now it needs a new engine that costs over $3,500, money I just don’t have. Between working full time , going to school full time, and raising my children, transportation is something we depend on, and right now, we’re struggling without it.

I’m doing everything I can to move forward working towards my Bachelors Degree and parenting ,but this has become a major setback. I’m asking for help to raise enough to get a safe, reliable car so I can continue working, stay in school, and take care of my kids.
