Donate for Joshalynn's Wheelchair Accessible Van
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Wendy, and this is my daughter Joshalynn. we are looking for donations for a Wheelchair Accessible Van. Joshalynn was born with Sickle Cell Anemia, which cause her to have many Sickle cell Crisis which had her admitted into the Hospital multiple times. Joshalynn wanted a better life for herself and her three sons, that's why she decided to have a procedure that could cure her of having Sickle Cell. The Stem cell Transplant (which was successful). While in the hospital recuperating, Joshalynn was found unresponsive in the bathroom, many test were preformed and Joshalynn was diagnosed with a brain bleed from a ruptured aneurysm. Joshalynn went through surgeries to clip the aneurysm, while in the hospital I was told Joshalynn would be in a vegetative State for the rest of her life, that day was very traumatic for our family and the next 5 years has changed all our lives. Despite the change in Joshalynn and her boy's life we are not giving up on her. Joshalynn has overcome many obstacles, but she has also missed many doctors' appointments, family gatherings and just being able to go outside to the park with her boys or even to the store. Joshalynn has a lot of life in her and that's why we are asking for help to purchase her a wheelchair accessible van so she can continue to live and go to therapy, on trips, or even just to the park with her sons. I've been told by another Doctor that Joshalynn is currently in a Minimally Conscious State. So can you donate for Joshalynn's Van. Thank You from her and her family.
