My name is Darrick Blue and I am the Lead School Safety Officer at the World of Inquiry School No. 58, in Rochester, NY. We are the only K-12 school in the RCSD, with a mission to foster culturally responsive learning experiences grounded in expeditionary learning and to promote student agency by teaching youth to take responsibility for their own learning and become active citizens who advocate for equity in their school, community, and society.

This year, our school community is celebrating our 58th anniversary and our theme for the year is "58 Years of Inquiry - Rooted in WE." During the month of November, we will be talking with our students about "Building a Better World," which is one of our core values. As part of this initiative, we will be distributing Thanksgiving Baskets to 70 families. Through the generosity of Wegmans and Foodlink, we have a head start with food items. The hope with this fundraiser is to be able to purchase fresh produce from local farmers to include in the baskets.

A donation of any size will be greatly appreciated.
