Donate for Dementia UK
In April 2025, I’ll be running my first-ever half marathon in Lake Garda, Italy—a place that held a special spot in my Great Nan’s heart. She absolutely adored Lake Garda, and I couldn’t think of a more fitting way to honour her memory than by taking on this challenge in the place she loved most.
I’m doing this to raise money for Dementia UK, a charity that provides vital support for families affected by dementia. This cause is deeply personal to me, as my Great Nan battled dementia in her later years.
If you can donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to me. Every pound raised helps provide specialist care and support for those facing the challenges of dementia.
More information about Dementia UK: Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia. By supporting our charity, you can help us grow the number of specialist dementia nurses, giving more families a lifeline. With your help, no one will have to face dementia alone.
