Hello, my name is Becca and I'm the primary caregiver for my mom and her husband. As a family, we are living on a very limited budget - it's enough for our monthly regular expenses but leaves little room for unexpected things.
In this case, we need to replace our refrigerator. The poor thing is almost 20 years old and is beginning to lose it's ability to keep the frozen things frozen. We recently lost the cranberry sauce, which made it look like the freezer was bleeding.
We need a functioning refrigerator, and preferably one with the freezer on the bottom to keep the elders from having to bend and reach in ways their doctors would prefer they not. We also need plenty of space to keep all the ingredients and left overs. It would help if there were built in organizational tools like bins on the doors and dividers in the drawers.
Wouldn't you know it. Just such a refrigerator exists and is not obnoxiously expensive (like we could get all that for $5,000 and a built in computer on the front but we're not looking to pay that much). Even still, we need help affording this unexpected expense.
