WE DID IT!! We finally made it up to Winter Park, CO and had our amazing SKI & SNOWBOARD lesson and it was SOO fun! The kiddos had an unbelievable time and we are so VERY grateful to all of the gracious DONORS (families & friends), the Winter Park staff AND the amazing Denver Parks & Rec staff who made this trip possible!

My name is Danny Shea and I am the Health & P.E. teacher for John H. Amesse Elementary School, located in the Montbello area of Denver.
Our Title I school has recently been chosen by Denver Parks and Rec to attend an all-day ski/field trip to Winter Park Ski Resort! The 5th grade students will be taking ski or snowboard lessons for only $10 per student, which is an incredible deal!
The trip date is: February 21, 2025.
The only drawback is that we have to pay for transportation, which is a charter bus and the cost will be $2,100.
For the vast majority of our underprivileged students, this is, quite literally, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
If you can find it in your heart and wallet to contribute any amount, you would absolutely help these kiddos create a forever memory!
