For immigrants and refugees in Pittsburgh, one of the toughest challenges is learning English. Mastering the language is vital to securing job opportunities and navigating the complex bureaucracy that immigrants face.

Therefore, we're running an ESL book drive. With your donation, we will purchase ESL textbooks and educational materials for those in need.

All the materials we purchase are bilingual, enabling students with no prior experience in English to begin learning immediately. In the United States, bilingual ESL textbooks are very rare, meaning that our book drive will be a unique lifeline to thousands of students.

We're partnering with SHIM and other local organizations to put these books in the hands of local immigrant families. Each book is a lasting resource, one that can be shared by an entire family and passed on to others as students master the material.

Please help us make a lasting impact for these people, and help your neighbors integrate into their new community.
