Hello family and friends! I noticed recently how many kids are in our neighborhood and we do not have a little free library box anywhere near us. There many families in our neighborhood that are struggling financially and extras like books are not feasible.

My kids were fortunate that I was able to take them to the library, buy books

from the book shop, and swap with

other mothers. We are in a multi-generational neighborhood that has a ton of littles and middle school kids.

I would like to put books that are in English and Spanish, coloring books, and bookmarks in the box. I can collect books from thrift stores (gently used) and take book donations. I have chosen a sturdy, weatherproof library box that is portable, very easy to install, and it will be filled with 100 lbs of sand to deter theft. No donation is too small, and if you can’t donate funds, book donations would be fantastic! Please consider!
