Dollar a Day: Change a Life

Tax deductible
Recently, I was joking around with my friends and almost tore up a dollar bill. My friend Nixon stopped me, saying I shouldn’t do that because there are people who really need the money. This made me realize just how significant that dollar could be for someone in need. I wanted to give it to a homeless man I often see near my school, but I couldn’t find him. This experience reminded me of how I can make a difference. While one dollar might not seem like much, if we each contribute just one dollar every day, we can truly change someone’s life. My friends and I spend that amount on food at Barnaby’s daily, so we could easily set aside a dollar a day to gradually help those in need. So next time you think about wasting a dollar on DoorDash or something meaningless, consider donating it instead—it could make a world of difference for someone who truly needs it.
