I am organizing a “Santa’s Helpers” Toy Drive on behalf of McKinney Fire Department to support the city-wide toy collection this year.

The goal is simple: Instead of asking each individual member to take time out of their day to shop for a toy, I am requesting a small $5 donation from anyone who would like to participate. I will then use 100% of the money collected to purchase toys on behalf of our department.

How it works:

· Each member who is willing and able is invited to donate $5 (more is welcome but not expected).

· All funds collected will go directly toward purchasing toys for the Santa’s Helpers Toy Drive.

· I will handle:

o Purchasing age-appropriate toys

o Packing them

This effort is my way of representing our MFD in the city-wide toy drive as a united front, while also removing the burden from individual members who may not have the time to shop but still want to contribute. To allow enough time to purchase and package the toys, I am asking that all donations be submitted by next Thursday, December 4, 2025.
