My name is Astrid Morancil, and I’m reaching out from California with a simple mission: to bring hope and help to families in my hometown in the Philippines who have been devastated by severe flooding.

Many homes are underwater, roads are impassable, and families have lost nearly everything — from their clothes to their livelihood. Parents are struggling to find dry shelter, and children are sleeping on soaked mats without food or clean water.

Sometimes, when tragedy strikes, it’s hard to know where to start. But I believe we can start small — with $10.
