All Rise Up (a registered Community Interest Company) is fundraising for a family in our community.

We are choosing not to name the person or their family for their privacy at what is a very sensitive time for them.

We are fundraising for a beautiful woman in her 40s who received a cancer diagnosis. She is a dedicated wife and mother and a truly gentle soul who never asks for help, even when she really needs it.

Since her diagnosis, the focus has obviously been on treatment and healing which has impacted all members of the family in different ways. Most of the treatment options chosen by this family are not NHS funded and so along with the usual financial burden illness has with time of work for appointments and recuperation, the family have also been self-funding the majority of treatment.

This family are so generous and giving to others and never ask for help. In fact, they are unaware of this fundraiser so it will be a surprise to them!

We are aware of the emotional, physical and financial strain that this diagnosis has had on the whole family and so we are raising money to gift to this family for them to ease their burden in some small way. We would love to raise enough to cover their bills for a period of time so they can take some time off work or even have a family holiday together to make precious memories.

This family deserve love and support from the community at this time and we hope you might find it in your hearts to donate. We know times are hard, so even just £2 from lots of people could make a difference and help us reach our goal.
