Este reciente huracán, Hillary que azotó a la península de Baja California específicamente las costas de la Pacífico Norte (Punta Abreojos, La Bocana, Asunción, Bahía Tortugas y Natividad), y en el que el fuerte oleaje de Hillary causó inundaciones y pérdidas de bienes y materiales en su mayoría a su paso.

Campo René sufrió grandes pérdidas materiales entre ellas sus históricas cabañas, palapas y bodegas dejando un saldo de pérdida total. Un sitio el cual las familias locales visitan desde hace décadas, así como también, conocido y visitado entre extranjeros por su gran pesca, comida y paisajes únicos.

Después de años con Campo René detenido, se reactivó aproximadamente hace un año con un giro diferente y una finalidad de promover la educación y concientización ambiental, entrando como administración un grupo de jóvenes trabajando a la par con la Cooperativa Punta Abreojos, dándole un parteaguas a las actividades ecoturísticas de la zona.

Por ello, creemos en este valioso proyecto es que necesitamos de su valiosa ayuda para levantar lo que con tanto esfuerzo y dedicación se construyó.

LOS FONDOS SERÁN DIRIGIDOS A UNA CUENTA EN ESTADOS UNIDOS Y ASÍ MISMO SE HARA ENTREGA DE ESTOS MISMOS A LOS SOCIOS DE LA COOPERATIVA DE SERVICIOS HUMEDALES DEL PACÍFICO QUE ADMINISTRAN LA PARTE TURÍSTICA DE LA COMUNIDAD.

The recent hurricane, Hillary, that hit the Baja California peninsula, specifically the North Pacific fish cooperatives (Punta Abreojos, La Bocana, Asunción, Bahía Tortugas and Natividad). Hillary's strong waves caused flooding and loss of property and materials mostly in its path.

Campo René suffered great material losses, including its historic cabins, palapas and warehouses, leaving a balance of total loss. A site which local families have been visiting for decades, as well as, known and visited among foreigners for its great fishing, food and unique landscapes.

After years with Campo René detained, it was reactivated approximately a year ago, with a different and important turn, with the aim of promoting education and environmental awareness, a group of young people entering as administration, working alongside the Punta Abreojos Cooperative, shined a light to ecotourism activities in the area.

It is this reason, that we believe in this valuable project that we need your valuable help and support to raise what was built with so much effort and dedication.

THE FUNDS WILL BE DIRECTED TO AN ACCOUNT IN THE UNITED STATES AND THESE WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE PARTNERS WHO MANAGE THE TOURISM PART OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE COOPERATIVA PESQUERA.
