Domestic Violence Victims & Suicide
Donation protected
Hi All, my name is Bridget & I truly thank you if you’re on this page to donate to help others less fortunate.
I am challenging myself & hope to raise money (with your kind help), for two very important Charities, CopeGalway.ie & Samaritans.Org
People who live with domestic violence don’t really live. Their days and nights are filled with fear, with very little light in their lives and often don’t have the strength or money to leave. I hope to raise money specifically to help those fleeing domestic violence to find safe accommodation.
Many people have struggles with mental health. It might be a low period in your life or a long time trying to find the strength to even just get out of bed. People trying to access services, only to find services reduced or ridiculous long waiting lists. Sometimes it’s too late or not enough and they feel the only answer is to take their last breath. Suicide destroys not only the person who ended their life but everyone who loved them.
So on 01 May I will start a 30 day challenge and plan to swim in the Atlantic Ocean every day and will walk 100 miles in 30 days also.
I’d truly appreciate your support, big or small and all monies raised will be divided between the two charities.
Thanks for taking the time to read this & watch this space for some cold water sea swimming & swearing
Thank you, thank you for your donation!
