Domestic violence- Helping someone in need

My dear friend Tiye Harris soon to be Smith has left a scary situation with her soon to be ex husband.  Tiye was hospitalized for 93 days after her husband gave her an illness. She has three small children with the youngest being 6mths old. She has been living with her husband the perpetrator for the past 6 mths.

She has been living under extreme emotional, psychological and financial abuse for months, having lost over 30lbs in 5 months due to the intense stress and worry. Her children are also displaying signs of IPV (Intimate partner violence) trauma.

Unable to get legal protection due to her states "physical harm/physical threat" only protective order laws, Tiye had to leave with little more than the clothes on her back when things became too volatile at home and she feared her husband's next move. She finally was able to leave and stay in a motel and took almost nothing with her. She’s moving into a women with children transitional living environment and will be starting from scratch. Any help is appreciated even if it’s 5.00. 

Tiye is an incredible woman and she will make it through this though most days are very difficult.
