Domestic Violence Awareness Round

The Launceston Women's Shelter (Magnolia Place) provides emergency accomodation for women and their children experiencing homelessness, with the majority escaping family violence.

All funds raised will be donated to Magnolia Place, to assist with ongoing support and programs for the women & children.

Some examples include providing school holiday programs and playgroup for children, as well as one-on-one programs designed to give intensive support with living skills individually to women residents of the shelter.

Sadly, more accomodation is required, and capacity will be doubled later this year, with fifteen additional units currently being built.
