Dear all,
With a heavy heart, I share the devastating news that, despite all our efforts and Dominika’s extraordinary strength and courage throughout her fight for recovery, life has been unrelenting.
Dominika has passed away.
Her absence leaves a void beyond words, and the pain of this loss is immeasurable. She faced every challenge with grace, resilience, and a spirit that inspired all who knew her.
A small ceremony will be held in her memory on Thursday 29th May. If you would like more details, please feel free to reach out to me via this platform.
Though the outcome is heartbreaking, I want to express my deepest gratitude, one final time, to each and every one of you who supported us with kindness, generosity, and love during this journey. Your compassion will never be forgotten.
Thank you.
Loïc
**UPDATE**
Fundraiser Complete – Thank You for Your Incredible Support
Thank you all for your donations – we are deeply touched by your generosity. Between different fundraisers organised we have managed to raise the funds needed to cover all the costs and will therefore be closing the fundraisers. Thank you again to everyone who donated and shared – it means more than words can possibly convey.
With gratitude,
Dominika & Loïc
**UPDATE** The Only Remaining Option is the £70k Treatment
It's now confirmed that the £20k treatment isn’t suitable due to antibody incompatibility — incredibly hard news to hear. But there’s still hope: a £70k treatment in Germany.
Every donation brings me closer. If you can’t give, please share — it means the world.
With gratitude,
Dominika
Hi everyone,
My name is Dominika Brzoska-Corenthy, and I’m reaching out with a plea for help. I never imagined I’d be in this position, but right now, I’m in a fight for my life, and I need your support.
My Story
In May 2024, I was diagnosed with B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). I went through intense chemotherapy, CAR-T cell therapy, and a stem cell transplant, hoping for a cure. I’ve fought so hard through every treatment, every setback, and every painful procedure.
But now, my body is struggling. After my stem cell transplant, I developed a severe adenoviral infection that my immune system can’t fight off. My liver function is struggling, I have constant fevers, and the usual treatments aren’t working.
My Only Hope
There is still one possible treatment: Adenoviral Cytotoxic T Cells (CTLs). This therapy could help my body fight the virus and recover. But here’s the difficult part—the NHS doesn’t fund the production of these life-saving cells. I need to raise the funds to manufacture the treatment myself.
I Can’t Do This Alone – I Need Your Help
There are two laboratories that can manufacture these CTLs. One priced at £20k, but there is a high risk it not be suitable for my condition. If this first option is not possible, we will need to raise 70k GBP asap for the second lab. I will be informed about compatibility the next two weeks and will share an update.
Without these cells, I am at high risk of organ failure, and time is running out.
If you can:
DONATE: Every contribution, big or small, gets me closer to the treatment I desperately need.
SHARE: The more people who see this, the better my chances of getting the help I need - Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Whatsapp Groups, LinkedIn, please copy/paste and share this link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/dom-against-leukemia
SEND LOVE & PRAYERS: Your support keeps me going on the hardest days.
This is My Fight for Life
I have been through so much, and I refuse to give up now. Please, if you can, help me get the treatment that could save my life and get me home to my wonderful husband and beautiful little boy.
With gratitude,
Dominika
